Security guard shot dead in QC by ‘riding-in-tandem’

QUEZON CITY, Philippines – A security guard of Asian Development Bank was shot dead by a riding in tandem in front of Corinthian Gardens in Quezon City, a Radyo Inquirer 990AM reported on Monday.

The report, quoting Police Officer 2 Hermogenes Capili of Quezon City Police District Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit, said that victim Tadeo Talanan, 33, was riding on his motorcycle on his way home when he was shot by the suspects.

Taxi driver Ramir Cronico, who got caught up with the gun battle, said the suspects started chasing the victim at Ortigas flyover until he was gunned  down in front of  the Corinthian Gardens.

Talanan was rushed to the Medical City Hospital but didn’t survive.
