MTI eyes 2nd straight win in Aboitiz football
THE Mandaue Technical Institute (MTI) hopes to continue where it left off before the holiday break as it tries to continue winning its matches in the 15th Aboitiz Football Cup at the Aboitiz Sports Field in Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
MTI will be vying for its second straight win when it faces bracket C leader Ateneo de Cebu (AdC) B in the Boys 17 category.
A win will give MTI the top spot. Both teams have three points after having won their first assignments. However, AdC B leads MTI on a goal difference of four points.
The other match will see AdC A seeing action for the first time against Blessed John, who is vying for its first win in the tournament.
Blessed John tries to recover from a 0-10 beating inflicted by University of San Carlos in its first match of the tournament.
In the Boys 12, Hijas de Jesus aims to climb up the cellar as it faces AdC.
