5 games set on Day 1 of Sinulog softball

THE Sinulog Softball Tournament will kick off tomorrow at the Labangon Elementary School open field.

Five games will be played on opening day in the men’s open division.

Tournament director Dionisio Bacarisas announced that the men’s open division will be the only category to kick off tomorrow after the women’s, high school and elementary teams decided to re schedule their matches because of some personal concerns.

“We met with the organizers of the tournament and we agreed to re schedule the other categories,” said Bacarisas. “The re-scheduling of the matches will not affect the tournament.”

In the first match, Enerzone will go up against the Jewellers followed by the clash between R-and-B ABG versus Liloan. The Rebels will face Boyce in the third game while Site Work and Vikings will provide the action in the fourth game. Paknaan will have a showdown against Perly Booc of Pusok Lapu-Lapu City in the fifth match. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
