/ 08:58 AM December 20, 2012

A vision and concept survey for sustainable eco-friendly development was launched by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for Metro Cebu early this week.

Noda Hideo, JICA Director for Environmental Management Division I, informed Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia about the survey during a courtesy call at the Capitol last Friday.

Hideo said JICA’s commitment to help Cebu City as a sister-city of Yokohama, Japan is in keeping with the framework of the Metro Cebu Development and Coordination Board (MCDCB) chaired by the governor.
