MANILA, Philippines—The Bureau of Immigration issued lookout bulletins against Pagadian Mayor Samuel Co and 11 others involved in the multibillion Ponzi scheme.
Included in the order are former Public Works and Highways Undersecretary Bashir Rasuman, Emma Rasuman, Jeremiah Amer Rasuman, Jamirie Amer Rasuman, Jamila Rasuman Tomawis, Jalaima Rasuman Mangarun, Jerome Amer Rasuman, Bashir Rasuman Jr., Amer Tomawis, and Princess Aliah Tomawis Rasuman.
Immigration Commissioner Ricardo David Jr. said he has ordered the immigration officers to be on the lookout for the pyramid scam suspects should any of them attempt to leave via any of the international airports and seaports nationwide.
They are part of the Rasuman group being investigated for its possible ties with Aman Futures, the group involved in the P12 billion pyramiding scheme.
“Secretary De Lima’s order is for us to prevent them from leaving and to turn them over to the authorities should they pass our immigration counters,” David said.
