UC Heat defeat Mora-Lycans
The University of Cebu (UC) Heat skippered by Arjam Bonsucan trounced R.P. Mora-Lycans of Atty. Reiner Mora, 74-68, Wednesday night for its fifth win in six games in the elimination round of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA)-2012 annual basketball tournament at the Capitol Parish gym.
Jecon Bonsucan had 15 points while Arjam Bonsucan added 13 for the Heat, who improved to 6-1 (win-loss) and take the lead in the standings.
Benedict Bandala had 17 for the losing squad.
Earlier, the IBP-Gwapo of Bads del Prado overwhelmed IBP-B, 69-62, for its fifth win in seven games.
IBP Gwapo is now at second place at 5-2 behind the UC Heat.
