Laborer shot dead while sleeping

A MARKET laborer was shot dead outside his house in barangay Sto. Niño, Cebu City at dawn yesterday.

Police said Miguelito Duran, 41, was sleeping on a bamboo bench outside his house when he was shot in the head.

Paramedics from the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation (ERUF) tried but failed to revive the victim.

Police are hunting Donkoy Branzuela, who was tagged as a suspect in the killing.

Police said before the shooting, Duran and Branzuela had a drinking session where they argued.

Because of the argument, Duran went home.
