A 13-year-old boy from Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City is in need of medical assistance for his chemotherapy.

Aldrin Plarisan was recently diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancerous tumor of the muscles.

The disease started months ago when a bone swelling started to appear on Aldrin’s face. The swelling turned out to be a cancerous tumor which prompted surgery to remove the tumor from his head. Aldrin suffered partial paralysis after the operation. He also suffered frequent severe headache and vomiting. Sometimes he had to cut classes so he could rest as the pain was unbearable.

However, the requested chemotherapy was not complied because Aldrin’s parents are financially hard-up. Now the tumor is starting to grow again.

Aldrin’s father is a tricycle driver while his mother earns money by doing laundry for their neighbors. Aldrin has a twin brother and three other siblings who are all studying. Aldrin is asking for financial help to complete his treatment.
