Engineers football resumes, features 3 categories today

ACTION resumes in the 3rd Engineers Fiesta Cup Invitational Football Tournament today at the Sta. Lucia football field in Consolacion, Cebu.

Categories to be contested today are Girls 14, Girls 17 and the Boys 15 while scheduled for tomorrow are matches in the Men’s Open, Ladies Open and Men’s 42 Above.

All categories except for the Men’s Open will be playing in a league-type format with the top two teams advancing to the finals.

The Men’s Open, on the other hand, which attracted a total of 30 teams, will have six groupings.

FEATURED STORIES

Each group will play in a single-round robin elimination with the top teams advancing to the quarterfinals. The winners will then move on to the semifinals and the finals.
