Woman loses jewelry to car-riding robbers
A WOMAN lost P100,000 worth of jewelry after she was robbed by four car-riding robbers in barangay Catmondaan, Catmon town, northern Cebu.
Vergilia Quer, 59, a resident of barangay Calumbuyan, Sogod, Cebu, said she was robbed while waiting for a ride home past 11 a.m. last Thursday.
Quer said she was waiting for a bus near the town’s public market when a car stopped in front of her.
A man disembarked from the car, pointed a gun at the woman and declared a hold-up.
The woman said the man took her necklace, earrings and a bracelet then went back to the car which sped off toward an unknown direction.
The woman said the car had no plate number and had three other men on board.
