Korean mauls guard

A KOREAN national was arrested after he allegedly mauled a security guard of a resto bar in barangay Bakilid, Mandaue City.

Police said Sung Won Kim, 47, a native of Seoul Korea, was drunk during the scuffle.

Police said Kim, who temporarily lived in Cebu City, and his younger brother went to Lady Mysterious bar last Thursday night.

It was around 10 p.m. when Kim’s younger brother asked him to go home since he was already drunk.

Kim refused to go home and a commotion occurred when the younger brother kept on insisting that they should already go home.

Security guard Archie Lizondra of Kahari Security Agency intervened to stop the commotion.

Kim allegedly directed his anger at the guard and mauled him.

Members of the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team and mobile police arrived and arrested Kim.
