Sr. Mary Pilar Verzosa passes away, 67
MANILA, Philippines – Sr. Mary Pilar Verzosa, founder of Pro-Life Philippines, passed away early Sunday morning, a Radyo Inquirer 990 AM report said. She was 67.
The report said Verzosa died at the De La Salle Dasmarinas Hospital in Cavite at 4:40 a.m. She suffered from a brain aneurysm while giving a seminar to medical and nursing students at the university last Thursday.
Her body will be brought to Arlington this Sunday afternoon Chapel along Araneta Avenue in Quezon City for cremation.
From Arlington, her remains will be brought to the Good Shepherd Convent along Aurora Boulevard in Quezon City.
She will be laid to rest on September 12, according to Ellen Sanchez, a staff member of the Pro-Life Philippines.
