Old bomb found

A VINTAGE bomb was found in barangay Pooc, Talisay City, southern Cebu.

Police said the scavengers, who earlier found the bomb, tried to sell it to a junkshop yesterday morning.

Police said some residents in the area took the bomb from the scavengers, who were then trying to hit the bomb with a hard object.

The residents later turned over the bomb to barangay officials at the barangay hall. The officials then brought the bomb to the Talisay City Police office./CORRESPONDENT GABRIEL C. BONJOC
