Kenyans sweep top three 21k spots of Y101 Armscor Run

KENYANS Josphat Kiptanui, Douglas Mwiti and Abraham Missous dominated the 21-kilometer race of yesterday’s Y101-Armscor Run at the Gaisano Countrymall in barangay Banilad, Cebu City.

Kiptanui topped the category, finishing with a time of one hour, 12 minutes and 41 seconds followed by Mwiti (1:13:12) and Missous (1:15:10).

Mary Joy Tabal dominated the distaff side with a time of (1:31:22) while ultra runner Virginia Parajenog came in at second (1:56:42) followed by Helen Dionson (2:04:53)

Other winners were Kenyan Francis Kakui (10k male), Cristy Sevellino-Tutor (10k female), Joebert Carolino (5k male) and Lovely Fe Andrin (5k female).
