Dog shows set in Pasig

Top Asian judges Adrian Kim Guan Tey of Malaysia and Chang Wei Wei of Taiwan will grace the 7th and 8th International All-Breed Dog Shows of the Canine Handlers and Trainers Association of the Philippines (Chatap), an affiliate of Asian Kennel Club Union of the Philippines Inc. (Akcupi), on Sunday, Aug. 26 at Tiendesitas en Frontera Verde, Ortigas corner E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue (C-5), Pasig City.

Tey, a graduate of Middlesex University in London, is a management consultant and currently a partner with a European consulting firm in Kuala Lumpur.

He has judged in international all-breed dog shows in Malaysia, Korea and the Philippines.

Chang has been with the Taiwan Kennel Club, the oldest in that country, with judging stints in Taiwan, Korea and the Philippines.

Chatap president Dennis Javier said both judges will have their own set of awards for the best baby puppy, best Philippine-born, and the top award, the best in show, from among seven breed groupings.
