2 killed in road accidents
A CARPENTER and an 8-year-old boy were killed in separate vehicular accidents in southern Cebu.
Samuel Parantar, 56, died on the spot after he was thrown off a motorcycle which collided with a motorcycle in barangay Taloot, Argao town.
The 17-year-old tricycle driver, Ibara Tecson, and two other passengers were injured.
A slippery road was cited as a possible cause of the accident which happened after a heavy downpour last Thursday afternoon.
Police said Tecson was negotiating a downhill road when his tricycle collided head-on with a motorcycle, whose driver was not immediately identified.
In barangay Campo 8, Toledo City, an 8-year-old boy was killed after he was hit by a motorcycle.
