MANILA, Philippines—Water in several rivers and water ways in Metro Manila are dropping slowly, according to the state-run weather bureau.
Water level monitoring stations located along several rivers recorded water levels going down over the past two hours.
San Mateo-1 monitoring station recoded 21.28 meters as of 12:40pm Thursday. Water level two hours earlier was 22.25 meters.
The Tumana bridge monitoring station located along the Marikina river recorded 21.18 meters, lower compared to the 22.16 meters recorded two hours earlier.
The Marcos Highway station also recorded a lower water level at 17.44 meters compared to 18.20 meters earlier.
Sto. Nio station recorded 18.68 meters, lower than 19.54 meters recorded earlier.
Rosario also recorded lower levels at 15.13 meters, compared to 15.62 meters.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration has terminated the previous yellow rainfall warning alert as of 12:20pm.
