Police identify 2 of 3 fatalities in Valenzuela floods

MANILA, Philippines–Two of the three people who died in Valenzuela floods have already been identified, a Radyo Inquirer 990AM report said Wednesday.

The first fatality was Ruel Reyes Fabros, 41, whose body was found Tuesday along Felixville, Dalandanan, Valenzuela, according to Senior Police Officer 2 (SPO2) Armando Lima.

Lima said Fabros was walking drunk when he slipped and sustained injuries. He was carried away by the current. Fabros’ body was brought to the Village Sabrino Funeral Homes.

The second victim was identified as Elwin Gonzales, 35, jeepney barker of No. 4 Constantin Drive, Marulas, Valenzuela. His body, said Lima, was recovered from Mercado Street in Marulas. His body is now at Candido Funeral Homes.

The third victim remains unidentified. His body was found at the gate of Plastic City in Canumay, West Valenzuela Wednesday morning. His body was brought to Sabino Funeral Homes.
