Old man killed in Cordova cemetery

A 71-YERA-OLD man was killed in a public cemetery in barangay Cogon, Cordova town on Mactan Island, Cebu.

Catalino Inok Jr. was found early morning yesterday with his right eye bulging out of its socket.

Police said the assailant may have struck the victim’s head with a rock.

The victim was seen drinking with two neighbors the night before in the Island Grill in barangay Poblacion, said police.

Witnesses said two men were seen dragging Inok to the cemetery.

Police are looking for both men.

Robbery could have been a motive, said police, because Inok had just received P2,000 in government financial assistance as a senior citizen.
