Man stabbed dead over money

A man was stabbed dead by a vendor on Sunday night after he asked about the money he had entrusted to the latter.

Carlito Duran, a resident of Kaliraya Street in Barangay Tatalon, Quezon City, was declared dead on arrival at a hospital due to several stab wounds.

Case investigator Police Officer 2 Julius Balbuena of the Quezon City Police District said that the 42-year-old victim was believed to have been killed by Sonny Manga, a mango vendor in the area.

Both men were drinking with another man identified only as Gil when the victim asked Manga for the money he had entrusted to him earlier.

For some reason, Manga got irked and stabbed the victim before he escaped. Julie M. Aurelio
