Explosives seized from drug suspect’s house

POLICE raided the house of a man believed to be involved in selling illegal drugs in barangay Pulpogan, Consolacion town, northern Cebu.

Police seized one rifle grenade, one fragmentation grenade, a KG-9 sub-machine gun pistol and drug paraphernalia from the house of Bebot Pepito.

The raid came after the arrest of Richie Agujar, 19, who was allegedly caught sniffing shabu at past 6 p.m. last Saturday.

Police said two small packs of suspected shabu were recovered from Agujar.

It was Agujar who informed the police of Pepito’s alleged involvement in illegal drugs.

Acting on the tip, Senior Insp. Wilbert Parilla and his men rushed to the house of Pepito in sitio Lumbang.

Several persons inside the house of Pepito scampered after seeing the arriving policemen.

Pepito was also not found in the house.

Pepito will be charged for illegal possession of explosives, firearms and drug paraphernalia.
