Man stabs brod dead

A fisherman was stabbed dead by his younger brother inside their home in barangay Poblacion, Daanbantayan town in northern Cebu.

Rolito Punay, 36, died on the spot with a stab wound in the left armpit.

The 28-year-old suspect, Ronilo Punay was arrested by police after the incident.

Police said Rolito was drunk when he arrived home at past 6 p.m. last Saturday and ran amok.

Rolito choked his father Severino. Ronilo intervened and stabbed Rolito with a kitchen knife.

PO2 Carlo Mondejar, a neighbor of the Punays, arrested Rolito.

Ronilo is detained at the Daanbantayan police precinct.
