CCMC to receive medical supplies
THE Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) will receive a donation of various medical equipment and supplies from a humanitarian organization.
Destiny Medical Fund Inc. (DMFI) will give beds for Intensive Care Unit, pediatric supplies, syringes, needles, assorted operating room supplies and other medical apparatuses to CCMC.
DMFI president Ma. Emma Ramas stated in the deed of donation that her corporation “voluntarily gives, transfers and conveys this donation to Cebu City because of its sense of social responsibility and civic duty.”
The Cebu City council approved a resolution last June 15 mandating the city government to give the donated items to CCMC.
The city receives a combination of used and new items obtained by DMFI through the efforts of Cancer Aid and Research Fund in cooperation with Christian Children’s Health and Hope Mission coordinated by Universal Aide Society.
DMFI is a charity organization, non-profit and non-stock corporation registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission that focuses on disease prevention and early detection of diseases.
