Korean accused of mauling his girlfriend
A domestic dispute turned ugly when a Korean national allegedly mauled his Boholana partner in barangay Bakilid, Mandaue City.
Ana Rose Dagwayan of Loay, Bohol province complained to police that she was badly beaten by Ung Rak Lee, 52, in their rented house in A. S. Fortuna Street on Sunday night.
Dagwayan said she could have been killed by the Korean had it not been for the intervention of their landlady who called the police.
The couple argued after the Korean allegedly scolded their 2-year-old daughter.
Dagwayan said she was often manhandled by the Korean.
Lee, however, denied harming the woman or scolding their daughter.
