MANILA, Philippines — Operations of the Light Rail Transit-2 (LRT-2) were disrupted Friday due to a “damaged catenary wire,” its management said.
It also said that the train line could only transport commuters to and from its Recto Station and Araneta Center-Cubao Station as of this writing, as it has stopped operations between its Anonas Station and Antipolo Station.
“The LRT-2 is temporarily implementing provisional service due to a damaged catenary wire,” the management said Friday morning in an advisory on Facebook.
A catenary wire provides electric power to trains.
