Power supply problem disrupts, limits LRT-2 operations

MANILA, Philippines – A power supply problem has disrupted and limited operations of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line 2 on Wednesday morning.

In a Facebook post as of 7:30 a.m., the LRT-2 management said train services were only from Antipolo to V. Mapa stations and vice versa. 

“Pansamantalang nagpapatupad ng provisionary service ang LRT-2 dahil sa power supply problem,” the post read.

(The LRT-2 is temporarily running a provisional service due to a power supply problem.)

“Manatiling nakasubaybay sa LRTA [Light Rail Transit Authority] FB [Facebook] and Twitter accounts para sa mga susunod na anunsyo,” it added.
