Corona’s son: We submit everything to the Lord

MANILA, Philippines–The Corona family is leaving everything up to the Lord to determine the fate of Chief Justice Renato Corona.

“We are praying very hard. We submit everything to the Lord,” Francis Corona, son of the Chief Justice, said in a text message Monday.

The Chief Justice is still confined at The Medical City after he suffered hypoglycemia when he appeared before the impeachment court on Tuesday last week and delivered a three-hour opening statement. He returned to the impeachment court on Friday despite his doctors’ advice and his family signed a waiver so he could go.

He was returned to the hospital after his testimony Friday.

On Monday (May 28, 2012) afternoon, both the prosecution and defense panels will present their closing arguments while the Senator judges will render their verdict the following day.
