MANILA, Philippines — Bicol and other areas in South Luzon will experience heavy rains from Saturday to Tuesday because of the shear line, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Provinces in Eastern and Western Visayas will also see similar weather conditions due to the shear line during the same period, it added.
A shear line is the meeting of warm winds and cold winds that can bring about rain, according to Pagasa.
