MANILA, Philippines — All operations at Sangley Airport in Cavite City were suspended on Thursday morning after a Philippine Navy (PN) helicopter crashed in the area, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

“All landing and take-off operations at Sangley Airport have been suspended, effective 10:18 AM today, due to a disabled military aircraft on the runway,” CAAP said in a short statement.

“No casualties were reported, and all personnel onboard, though with minor injuries, were conscious and safely transported to the 15th Strike Wing Hospital for medical evaluation,” it added.
