THE Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) is hoping to bag all four age-group titles of the 12th Cebu Interclub Football Cup. But first, all of its four teams must beat their respective opponents in today’s semifinal round.

In the boys 17 semis at the University of San Carlos Technological Center, the Magis Eagles will face archrival Abellana National School (ANS) Pomeroy.

The Magis Eagles topped bracket A after routing Ormoc FC, 6-0, yesterday. Though it holds a similar 3-0-1 win-draw-loss record as that of Springdale, the team clinched the top ranking with its goal difference of 22.

ERCO and Hiroshi has identical nine points equivalent to a win-draw-loss record of 3-0-1 but ERCO topped bracket A by virtue of its goal difference of 9 against Hiroshi’s 2.

QCU, on the other hand, earned the second spot next to SRFC in bracket B despite Don Bosco United (DBU) FC winning 5-3 against Southwestern University yesterday, also via its GD.

The semifinalists in the 40 and Above could not yet be determined because the final elimination matches were still being held as of presstime last night.

However, SRFC is already assured of the top spot after stretching its win to four with an 8-0 rout of QCU-B the other night.
