MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Policemen in the capital City of San Fernando on Monday arrested two suspects, including a teen, for possession of P578,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth).

In a statement, the Police Regional Office 3 said alias “Rick,” 27, a Christmas lantern maker, and alias “Mic,” 18, initially sold a small sachet of shabu to an undercover lawman at Calululut village at 4:47 p.m.

When arrested, policemen allegedly seized some 85 grams of shabu from the duo, who are facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Also on Monday, policemen in Santa Rita, Pampanga, arrested a 58-year-old man for illegal possession of a firearm.

Lawmen went to the man’s residence in San Basilio village to serve a search warrant for violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Regulation Act.

Accompanied by provincial mobile force personnel, the town policemen allegedly found a.38 caliber revolver, live bullets, P41,000 worth of shabu, and P1,100 worth of marijuana from the man’s residence.

Policemen also confiscated his M16-style airsoft rifle.
