Not only will the household benefit from desludging but also communities and the biodiversity in it, as Manila Water guarantees proper treatment of the collected sludge before discharging the effluent to bodies of water, making it safe for life in and out of water.

“We continue to encourage our customers to avail of the desludging service Manila Water is offering as we believe that it is a shared responsibility. We are committed in doing our share by educating our customers and stakeholders of the importance of desludging and proper wastewater treatment and providing actual siphoning services,” says Jeric Sevilla, Manila Water Corporate Communication Affairs Group Director.
