MANILA, Philippines — Several roads in Metro Manila will undergo road reblocking and repairs over the long weekend from August 22 to August 27, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Thursday.
The MMDA, in an advisory, said the repairs will begin at 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22 and wend oat 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27.
“Motorists are advised to take alternate routes,” the MMDA said.
The Department of Public Works and Highways will conduct the reblocking and repairs on the following roads:
- Tandang Sora after Culiat High School to Allan Bean (1st lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
- Edsa Southbound (SB) after West Avenue to after MRT North Avenue Station (1st lane from center), Quezon City
- Edsa northbound (NB), SM North Edsa Annex to Iglesia ni Cristo (3rd lane from center), Quezon City
- Edsa NB, Quezon Avenue to Philam Footbridge (3rd lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
- Edsa SB Bansalangin St. to West Avenue (3rd lane from center), Quezon City
- Mindanao Avenue fronting Caltex Gas Station (1st lane from center), Quezon City
- Commonwealth Avenue SB, St. Peter Church (footbridge) to Shopwise (4th lane from center), Quezon City
- Edsa SB Lanutan to Bansalangin (1st lane from center), Quezon City
- Gen. San Miguel EB between Bisig ng Kabataan to A. Mabini St. (1st lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
- Between Edsa Monumento SB and Benin St. (1st – 4th lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
- Edsa SB (2nd bus lane) after Ayala Tunnel, Makati City
- Roxas Boulevard SB, Edsa flyover (3rd lane), Parañaque City
