DPWH to conduct weekend repairs, reblocking in select Metro Manila roads

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct road reblocking and repairs on several thoroughfares in Metro Manila from May 24 to May 27.

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct road reblocking and repairs on several thoroughfares in Metro Manila from May 24 to May 27.

According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Friday, the repairs will begin at 11 p.m. Friday, May 24, until 5 a.m. on Monday, May 27.

“Motorists are advised to take alternate routes,” the MMDA said in a traffic advisory.

Below is the list of roads where DPWH will be conducting reblocking and repairs:

  • Regalado Avenue Northbound (inner lane) going to North Caloocan, Quezon City
  • G. Araneta Avenue, Mauban St. to Sto. Domingo Avenue (1st lane from center), Quezon City
  • ⁠Congressional Avenue Ext. infront of Game 7 Restaurant (truck lane), Quezon City
  • Payatas Road Samar St. to Leyte St. (outer lane), Quezon City
  • ⁠Commonwealth Avenue, Luzon Avenue to Central Avenue (54th lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
  • ⁠North Avenue Northbound before Senador Mirriam P. Defensor- Santiago Avenue (3rd lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
  • ⁠Sto. Domingo Avenue, N.S. Amoranto to Sct. Alcaraz (1st lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
  • ⁠Tandang Sora Avenue from corner Commonwealth Avenue to after Road 1, Quezon City
  • ⁠EDSA Southbound J.P. Rizal Avenue to Orense between Cloverleaf and Bernardino St., Makati City
  • Fairview Avenue, Regalado to Quirino Highway (4th lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
  • Along EDSA Southbound near L. Woods St., Pasay City
  • ⁠Taft Avenue, Quirino Avenue to MRT Baclaran (inner lane), Pasay City
