Over 100 MSMEs to showcase products at Peñafrancia Festival
NAGA CITY—Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) will once again showcase their products and innovations at the Peñafrancia Festival in this city in September.
Organizers expect over a hundred MSME exhibitors at the Bishop Francisco Gainza Trade Fair, which will take place from Sept. 12 to 23 at a mall here.
They hope the trade fair will draw larger crowds compared to previous years.
In 2023, the trade fair generated P12.6 million total sales for participating MSMEs.
“We are thrilled to bring together such a diverse and dynamic group of exhibitors and attendees for this year’s fair,” project director Rev. Fr. Marcel Emmanuel Real’s statement issued Wednesday reads.

The event is also a revival of the 1875 agricultural trade fair then started by the titular Bishop of Caceres.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Camarines Sur, the Caritas-Caceres, Inc., and the Archdiocese of Caceres’ Social Action Commission are joint organizers of the trade fair.
“We are confident that the 14th edition will exceed expectations and drive meaningful progress across industries,” DTI Camarines Sur Jay Percival Ablan said.
