Marcos orders reshuffle of several positions in PCGG, other appointments

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has reshuffled several positions in the Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG), according to the Palace on Thursday.

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has reshuffled several positions in the Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG), according to the Palace on Thursday.

Singer Anthony Castelo was named vice chairman, chief operating officer, and member of the Board of Directors of the Bataan Shipyard and Engineering Company Inc., which is under the PCGG.

Marcos also transferred PCGG Commissioner Rogelio Quevedo into a new post, months after giving him the position. Quevedo was named as commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission.

However, Marcos had just named Quevedo as a PCGG commissioner nearly five months ago in February.

It should be noted that the PCGG is the government body created to recover the Marcos family’s stolen wealth.

The PCGG commissioner is Raymond Anthony Calag was also reappointed.

  • Ferdinand Benbenen: Director IV
  • David Mendoza: Director IV
  • Avenilo Aventura Jr.: Executive director, Philippine Heart Center

Department of Information and Communications Technology

  • Maria Delia Presquito: Director IV of the National Privacy Commission
