2 ‘high-value’ drug suspects yield P170,000 shabu in Cavite

LUCENA CITY – Police anti-narcotic operatives seized P170,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) from two alleged “high value” drug traffickers in Dasmariñas City in Cavite province on Wednesday, May 29.

The Region 4A police said in a report Thursday that the operatives arrested “Ter” and “Abdul” after selling P3,500 worth of shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay Sta. Lucia at around 10:30 p.m.

The drug enforcers confiscated from the suspects five plastic sachets of shabu weighing 25 grams worth P170,000.

Police tagged both suspects as included on the local police drug watch list as “HVI” or high-value individuals.

The suspects were detained and are facing a complaint of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
