‘Shabu’ worth P12.9M seized from 2 traffickers in Cavite
LUCENA CITY — Police anti-illegal drug operatives arrested two suspected big-time traffickers in separate buy-bust operations Thursday in Dasmariñas City, Cavite, and seized more than P12.9 million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth).
A spot report released Friday by the Police Region 4A (PRO-4A) said the operatives held “Nicasio” at 10:40 a.m. after he sold a pack of shabu to an undercover police officer in a transaction in Barangay Sampaloc 4.
The operatives seized from Nicasio eight plastic sachets containing meth weighing 800 grams with an estimated value of P5,440,000 and a tea bag with 1,000 grams of shabu worth P6,800,000.
At 4:08 a.m., the city drug enforcement unit nabbed “Chayan,” 17, in another sting operation in Barangay Paliparan 3.
The suspect yielded two knot-tied plastic bags with shabu weighing 100 grams worth P680,000.
