Pagasa sees cloudy Wednesday in PH

MANILA, Philippines — Partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected nationwide and a minimal chance of rain in Cagayan and Isabela on Wednesday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Tuesday afternoon. 

“Dahil pa rin sa ridge of high pressure area, asahan natin ang mas mababang tiyansa ng pag-ulan sa Cagayan at Isabela area,” said Pagasa weather specialist Veronica Torres.

(Due to the continued presence of the ridge of high pressure area, we can expect a lower chance of rainfall in Cagayan and Isabela.)

“Sa may Metro Manila naman at the rest of Luzon, partly cloudy to cloudy skies at may mga tiyansa pa rin ng mga localized thunderstorms,” she added.

Partly cloudy to overcast skies, meanwhile, will also prevail over Visayas and Mindanao with chances of rain due to localized thunderstorms.

No storms or low pressure areas are also expected to form within the Philippine area of responsibility.

No gale warning is in effect over any of the country’s seaboards.

  • Puerto Princesa City: 25 to 34 degrees Celsius
  • Tagaytay: 24 to 34 degrees Celsius

  • Cebu: 26 to 33 degrees Celsius
