Man missing in Tanay

MANILA, Philippines — A 36-year-old man who left his home in Rizal on Good Friday has been missing since, according to the Tanay Municipal Information Office.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, the municipal government identified the man as Werner Jimenez, a resident of Barangay Sampaloc in Tanay.

Citing his wife’s account, the report said Jimenez left their home around 8 p.m. to meet a certain Regie Reporzado at a gasoline station along Marilaque Highway within the same barangay. He was onboard a motorcycle.

From 11 p.m. onwards, Jimenez could no longer be contacted.

Following his alleged disappearance, Jimenez’s social media accounts were likewise deactivated and could no longer be searched online, according to niece Leiza.

Leiza added that Jimenez was only reported missing by his wife Clarisse today (April 2).
