TAGBILARAN CITY — A helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing on a vacant lot in Guindulman town, Bohol after entangling with a string of a kite on Thursday, March 7.
No one was hurt among the two passengers and one pilot but it created a stir among residents in Sitio Sta. Lucia, Barangay Trinidad, Guindulman, a fourth class municipality located about 91.5 km east of this capital city.
One of those who witnessed the landing was Andrew Bayhon Lacar, 48. He said he saw the helicopter was flying low.

Police Master Sergeant Ronilo Olasiman confirmed that the helicopter made an emergency landing.
Lacar said the pilot checked the condition of the helicopter and explained that the nylon of the kite got caught by the top portion of the control propeller.

Luckily, there was not any damage and the helicopter was airworthy.
Some residents took selfies with the helicopter. After 10 minutes, the helicopter was back in the air. It was not known where it was heading.
The good weather brought by summer season prompted children to fly the kite.
