MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Postal Corporation has assigned new zone improvement plan (ZIP) codes for the 10 Embo barangays in Taguig City on Tuesday.
This follows after a Supreme Court ruling that decided that the 10 barangays are part of the territory of Taguig City.

According to the a Facebook post of the Taguig City local government, the following ZIP codes will now be used:
- 1640: Cembo
- 1641: Comembo
- 1642: Pembo
- 1643: East Rembo
- 1644: West Rembo
- 1645: South Cembo
- 1646: Pitogo
- 1647: Post Proper Northside
- 1648: Post Proper Southside
- 1649: Rizal
“Residents and businesses in these barangays are advised to update their postal information to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of mails and packages,” its advisory added.

The 10 barangays were formerly part of Makati City before the 2022 ruling of the Supreme Court.
