Singing Cebu clergymen star in benefit concert

It has been ten years since the Cebu Clergy Performing Artists performed on stage.

The original band members were Reverend Fathers Rudy Ibale, Zachy Zacarias, Carlo Aguilar, Joselito Gutierrez and Kipling Agravante.

Over the years, Fathers Ibale and Aguilar have left the group to focus on  parish  assignments.

The remaining members asked Fr. Arven Pretila and Fr. Ariel Dutosme to join them and fill the void.

Thus, “X Men In White” was born.

The dinner-concert on Friday, May 18, will highlight the diocesan priests’ well-blended voices and terpsichorean skills.

Singer Maria Donna, fresh from her stint in Disneyland Hongkong, will be a guest performer.

The singing priests  will be accompanied e by the Behind the Habit band.

“X-Men In White” will be staged at the Cebu Grand Convention Center along Archbishop Reyes Avenue, Cebu City.

Tickets for the dinner  and show   are priced at P800. Dinner starts at  6:30 p.m. and the  performance starts at 8 p.m.

Proceeds of this event will go to the scholarship program of the Youth Ministries Keepsake Association.
