DSWD seeks parents of abandoned kids

THE Department of Social Welfare and Development in Central Visayas (DSWD-7) on M.J. Cuenco Avenue,  Cebu City is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the parents and relatives of abandoned children.

Gabriel Jaca, born on June 16, 2011, was left by her mother Marilyn Moroto Jaca to Renato  Tinapay Jr. on June 27, 2011 in barangay Tugbongan, Consolacion, northern Cebu.

A baby boy estimated to be three to four days old was found  by Annalyn Jaudian in barangay Sangat, San Fernando in southern Cebu last March 11 at 11:25 p.m.

Kathlene Martinez was born on Oct. 9, 1994 in Tres de Abril, Punta Princesa, Cebu City to Rosalie Bagacay Martinez. Rosalie entrusted her daughter to Tiburcio and Clarita Ramirez on March 17, 1995 in Bonifacio Street, Cebu City.

The DSWD-7 is requesting the parents and relatives to see social workers Felicidad Auxtero and Nadz Noel or contact them at 416-7646.      Failure of the parties to appear within two months will subject the children for abandonment in DSWD Central Office.
