LUCENA CITY — An unidentified man, believed to be a “salvage” or summary execution victim, was found in Calamba City in Laguna province on Friday, January 5.
A report from the Police Region 4A on Saturday said the man was found lying in a creek in Barangay (village) Lawa on Friday morning.

The report did not state what caused the victim’s death but his legs and feet were tied with a cable while a nylon rope was tied around his neck and packaging tape on his face.
Police said the victim was medium built, approximately 5’4” tall, and had a fair complexion.
Investigation is underway to find out the victim’s identity and his killer.
