‘Salvage victim’ found in Quezon

LUCENA CITY -– An unidentified man, believed to be a “salvage” or summary execution victim, was found in Padre Burgos town in Quezon province Wednesday night.

A report from the Quezon police, said the man, who has yet to be identified, was found at the roadside in Sitio Guitong in Barangay Sipa around 7:30 p.m.

The man’s wounded head was wrapped with masking tape, while his hands were also tied with masking tape behind his back.

He was wearing a blue “sando” (undershirt) and maroon shorts.
