Bongbong Marcos recovers from COVID-19 — PCO
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is “progressing well” in his recovery from COVID-19, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said on Saturday afternoon.
On Tuesday, the PCO said the President tested positive for the virus.
“Today, on the fifth day of home isolation, the President is now free from cough, nasal congestion, and fever for more than 24 hours,” the PCO said in a statement on Facebook.
“All other medical findings were unremarkable. Consequently, the President’s final diagnosis is Covid-19, Recovered,” the statement added.
The PCO added that Marcos was closely monitored by medical professionals throughout his isolation period.

As a precautionary measure, it added that the President was also advised to wear a face mask for 10 days during public engagements.
