PAF aircraft skids off Puerto Princesa airport
PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Palawan — A Philippine Air Force (PAF) aircraft skidded off the runway of Puerto Princesa City airport in Palawan province on Saturday morning, Dec. 9.
Tactical Operations Wing West (TOW-West) spokesperson 1st Lieutenant Stephanie Bernardo said the C212i light lift aircraft used for troop and cargo transport encountered a minor incident and overshot Runway 27 of the airport and skidded to the grassy portion.
“It was just a minor incident, the aircraft was not damaged and its pilots and crew were not injured and they are safe,” Bernardo said.

She added that the aircraft was still at the airport and an investigation regarding the incident would be conducted.
