PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Palawan — A Philippine Air Force (PAF) aircraft skidded off the runway of Puerto Princesa City airport in Palawan province on Saturday morning, Dec. 9.

Tactical Operations Wing West (TOW-West) spokesperson 1st Lieutenant Stephanie Bernardo said the C212i light lift aircraft used for troop and cargo transport encountered a minor incident and overshot Runway 27 of the airport and skidded to the grassy portion.

“It was just a minor incident, the aircraft was not damaged and its pilots and crew were not injured and they are safe,” Bernardo said.
