Dela Rosa confirms senators had ‘casual dinner’ with Marcos

MANILA, Philippines – President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and first lady Liza Araneta-Marcos hosted a “casual dinner” for senators in Malacañang on Tuesday night.

Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa confirmed this in an ambush interview with reporters on Wednesday.


“We will not go there without an invitation. He and the first lady invited us. The first couple invited us for dinner — just a casual dinner,” dela Rosa said.

Dela Rosa did not provide details of the dinner.
