The House of Representatives on Monday created a panel that would study the possibility of relocating the chamber near the Senate’s new building in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig City for better communication and coordination of legislative work.
Tapped to head the committee were Camarines Sur Rep. Luis Raymund Villafuerte Jr., Senior Deputy Speaker and Pampanga Rep. Aurelio Gonzales Jr. and Deputy Majority Leader and Quezon Rep. David Suarez.
Villafuerte was designated as chairperson of the ad hoc committee while Gonzales and Suarez were tapped as vice chairs along with Surigao del Norte Rep. Robert Ace Barbers.
